VISHNU/DEBA/HARI SAYAN EKADOSI

  H indu calendar have 24 ekadosi @2 per month. Out of which 4 are considered most sacred and auspicious and called bada ekadosi . Hari Sayana Ekadas i,( asadha sukla pakha ), Sri Vishnu Parswa Paribartan Ekadosi (Bhadrab sukla pakha ) ,Debautthapan Ekadasi ( Kartik Sukla Pakha) and Bhoumi Ekadosi( Magha Sukla Paksha) are four important ekadosi dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Vishnu Sayana Ekadosi is first of the major and important ekadosi of the Hindu calendar falls 11 days of full moon days of asadha ( suklapaksha ekados i)month. From this days Lord Vishnu goes for long deep sleep( ananta sayana) for four months keeping  Lord Shiva  in charge of the entire universe.  More over from this day chaturmasya brata (four month long brata ) started. Starting or concluding any auspicious works (suva karma) like marriage,laying foundation stones for houses/temple, thread ceremony,  Yogyan ,digging of tanks,consecration of idols and temple, gruhaprabesh etc are completely forbidden during

WHO AM I ? A QUESTION

  W ho am I? This may be a foolish question for the lay man, but it is definitely a big, meaningful, land mark question for the intellectuals and spiritual soul. Whether we the sansari man  ever asked this question to our selves ? What is the reality of self ? Whether physical body is self or anything more or less? Where is the original home land of self ? From where we came and where is the last destination ? What is the aim and objectives of the self ? If we have asked those questions then what answers we have received ?  If we got the the answers, then what is our further move ? If we have not got the answer then who is competent authority to give wisdom. Answer is very simple. He is one who is very much matured in spiritual thought, self sufficient power house of all knowledge and wisdom to whom tradition says sadguru , can explains every thing from A to Z to His sishya, the disciples without hesitation. W hen a new born touches the ground for the first time, sounds kuan-kuan.  F

FRIENDSHIP

  O nce upon a time there was a beautiful tank with sweet water in a forest with bathing ghat,  where a giant crocodile was living. The travellers and passerby compelled to pass through the woods in search of water become the easy prey of the crocodile. Once a monkey came to quench his thirst to the  ghat of the tank and surprised to discover that return back foot prints of the travellers in the path connecting the ghat  were missing. Very clever monkey realised the fact very soon and decided to sit  in the tree and guide the people against visiting the tank and save precious lives. As decided the monkey warned the people about the presence of the giant killer in the tank and the passerby returned back in hurry. Now the crocodile becomes much hungry and deals diplomatically with the monkey and made him his friend. He offered a precious  pearl  garland to the ape as mark of friendship and in return asked for food to survive. After few hours of trust deed a hungry hunter came in search
